District 117 is a dream realized for 3 couples that met in San Diego in 2004. Their common appreciation for art, fashion, lifestyle, and design, lead them first to a lasting friendship, and as a result, the eventual opening of District 117. The name of the gallery is inspired by the couples’ serendipitous meeting in San Diego, which lies on the 117th longitudinal degree of the globe, and where they now call home. The gallery founders’ roots originally stem from Los Angeles, New York, Madrid, Asturias, and Barcelona. [+]
